    Positions Details

    Our Director of Resident Relations, functions as our residents social worker, is responsible for the following:


    • Ensuring all aspects of resident welfare, retention, and referrals
    • Providing programs and support strategies for residents and families needing special attention
    • Coordinating orientation program and build relationships with new residents and family members
    • Confirming appropriate and timely resolution of identified resident/family issues
    • Scheduling a managing personal services for all residents
    • Scheduling and leading care conference to assess resident/family satisfaction with current services and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Informing department leaders of identified resident/family issues and confirm timely resolution
    • Soliciting feedback from residents, families and team members regarding resident issues
    • Developing and implementing programs and support strategies for residents and families
    • Establishing relationships with social service organizations and professionals in the community to build reputation and earn referrals
    • Coordinating and implementing an effective resident orientation program
    • Keeping in touch with industry changes and updates, communicating new ideas to management for future investigation or implementation
    • Organizing, scheduling, and facilitating Resident Council and Resident Meetings
    • Creating and managing annual plans, goals, budget, pricing and performance standards


    Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


    • Bachelor's degree in social work, social services or related field; gerontology coursework preferred
    • At least two years' experience in social services; experience working with seniors is preferred
    • Top-notch English communication skills in reading, writing and speaking
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Superb leadership skills
    • Positive, can-do attitude and enjoys working on a team
    • Have a strong desire to ensure the welfare of our residents in thier new home and community.
