    Positions Details

    As a valuable member of our team, our Maintenance & Housekeeping Associates are responsible for the following:


    • Perform light duty routine building maintenance tasks
    • Clean and maintains tools and equipment
    • Report needed repairs or replacements of equipment and tools to their supervisor
    • Provide assistance to the Housekeeping team, on occasion, with projects such as carpet/floor cleaning or moving furniture
    • Respond to building emergencies during any time on or off-shift
    • Take note of supplies running low or in need or replacement and reports it to the supervisor
    • Perform daily rounds and check of various safety systems as assigned, including completing related record keeping
    • Provide housekeeping services in resident apartments and around the community
    • Provide assistance with laundry services as requested or needed.
    • Take all resident special instructions and requests to your supervisor to ensure exceptional service and clear communication between the team and residents
    • Respond to emergencies and report any safety hazards observed in the building to your supervisor or manager on duty immediately 
    • Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility


    Education and/or Equivalent Experience 


    • High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized training or work experience
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Able to read, write, and speak in English
    • Must be able to follow oral and written directions and instruction
    • Must work independently and cooperatively as a member of a team with the desire and ability to solve problems, have initiative, and be willing to work flexible hours
    • Must relate successfully to others with excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to maintain a high degree of cleanliness
    • Must be able to work in different physical positions to complete tasks, while providing a variety of physically demanding, maintenance-related tasks inside and outside of the building
    • Must have good manual dexterity and the ability to work with tools and equipment
