We are excited to announce the search for a full-time Regional Clinical Nurse - RN to lead, monitor and improve clinical services for our communities in the western Minneapolis area.

    Positions Details

    • In partnership with the Corporate Director of Health Services, establish appropriate policies, procedures and practices with nursing and administrative staff.
    • Monitor/audit assigned communities for on-going compliance in State and Federal regulations and the application of accepted nursing standards of clinical practice.
    • Provide and/or assist with the development and/or implementation of action plans based on trended survey data, plans of correction and quality assurance reports.
    • Participate in the orientation and transitional support for Directors of Health Services (DOHS), and provide ongoing support for the DOHS other professional nursing staff, and unlicensed personnel (nursing staff)
    • Work with and make recommendations regarding ancillary providers to ensure Oversee Quality
    • Management/Safety/Risk Management programs in each community
    • Assist in the development and delivery of training and education for clinical and financial systems integration and operation.
    • Will temporarily act as Director of Health Services (DOHS) during the absence and transition of a DOHS position to prepare community for new DOHS and to ensure there will be no break in services during the transition.
    • Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility
       

    The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

     

    • Three to five years of experience as a Director of Nursing/Director of Health Services or similar nurse leadership role in an Assisted Living and Memory Care environment. Experience with managing multiple sites in senior living highly preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
    • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) for state assigned, in good standing
    • Demonstrated public speaking skills and ability to create tools and conduct presentations for multiple levels of staff
    • Experience in developing training programs for Administrators and Directors of Nursing
    • Demonstrated knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Point Click Care (PCC)
    • Knowledge of Minnesota Comprehensive license for home care
    • Thorough understanding of all clinical State and Federal compliance areas as well as financial impact: nursing, therapy, pharmacy, social services, activities, administration and accounting
    • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time throughout the region
