Positions Details

Our Community Relations Director is responsible for the following:


  • Working closely with the management team on developing, implementing and updating all sales and marketing plans
  • Developing and fostering meaningful relationships with residents, families, colleagues and vendors
  • Managing the Marketing department's budget
  • Working in partnership with community team members to ensure all aspects of the sales process are handled seamlessly and professionally
  • Ensuring and completing follow-up activities so all inquiries are identified, scheduled, completed and well-documented
  • Collaborating with the management team to ensure Meridian Manor is always looking its absolute best by ensuring:
    • Superior upkeep and attractiveness
    • Open and consistent resident/family communications
    • Utilization of internal events for marketing
    • Accountability for in-house marketing and sales training
    • Everyone stays informed of key competitors’ strengths, weaknesses and pricing


Our ideal candidate will have:


  • A two-year college degree with an emphasis in marketing or sales (preferred) or the equivalent in training, education and experience
  • Sales and marketing-savvy
  • Superb communication skills in both writing and speaking
  • A FUN, upbeat personality and positive attitude
  • A desire to and passion for working with older adults
  • A current, valid drivers license and clean driving record
