Positions Details

Our Health Services Associates are an essential part of the nursing team and are responsible for the following:


  • Provide direct administrative support to the Director of Health Services (DOHS) and the Executive Director (ED) as needed
  • Perform personnel management support functions, such as tracking training, education and licensing completion and renewal dates as well as maintaining departmental employee information, notifying the DOHS when updates are and training is needed
  • Keep nursing team engaged in and aware of education and training opportunities within the community
  • Set up meeting spaces for in-service meetings 
  • Coordinate, create and update the nursing department schedule in partnership with the DOHS
  • Replace call-ins as needed
  • Keep office supplies well-stocked and reorder as needed
  • Assist with the management of medical records
  • Assist with maintaining the Assisted Living policy and procedure manuals
  • Create new resident records and manage resident information in the resident care database, Point-Click-Care (PCC)
  • Assist the DOHS in drafting a resident's Plan of Care
  • Audit medical records for completion using
  • Schedule orientation for new nursing department employees.
  • Arrange Care Plan appointments between the DOHS and resident families
  • Complete data entry of resident information into PCC
  • Perform Nursing Assistant duties as necessary in times of need


Our ideal candidate will have:


  • A FUN, upbeat personality, positive attitude, and is always willing to go the extra mile and work as a team
  • A high school diploma or equivalent in education, training and experience.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Administrative Assistant in a physician’s office or in a similar position supporting a Nurse Manager in a Clinical Setting
  • Be an effective, clear communicator both in written and oral communication
  • Experience with Point-Click-Care (PCC) or similar electronic medical records system preferred
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology a definite plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Be detail-oriented, organized and a self-starter
