Overview

Fred Lind Manor is a newly-renovated not-for-profit retirement community located on the crest of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

 

As a Transforming Age community, Fred Lind Manor is managed by a dedicated group of people committed to the vision of Transforming the Perception of Age and enhancing the lives of older adults.  Fred Lind Manor has been serving the seniors of Seattle since 1945.  We offer moderately-priced, month-to-month assisted living supported by our wide-reaching reputation for quality care and a great team.  While we are not a fancy or flashy place, our residents appreciate we have very little employee turnover and an ideal location.

 

We are looking for passionate RNs to join our team! At this time, we are looking to fill multiple on-call and part-time vacancies!

Positions Details

In addition to bringing a fun, upbeat and positive attitude and fantastic personality to the team, our RNs will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Reviewing routines, calendar of events, and resident needs
  • Reviewing staff schedules and makes arrangements to cover for any absent staff
  • Coordinating arrangements for resident appointments, treatments, or procedures, including transportation
  • Making daily rounds to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status of residents
  • Coordinating admission and discharge of residents
  • Assisting in training new staff
  • Reviewing medication profiles
  • Ensuring medications and supplies are ordered, in stock and counted at shift change
  • Keeping leadership informed of residents’ statuses and related matters
  • Assuring all charting and record keeping is completed
  • Following up on dietary requirements and recommendations
  • Communicating with physicians
  • Performing light administrative duties

 

Education, Skills and Experience

 

  • A graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Must be a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington with a current, valid license
  • Must be able to provide leadership and supervision over other staff
  • Must have knowledge of DSHS Regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
