    Parkshore, a Transforming Age community, is a lakefront retirement community located in Seattle's picturesque Madison park neighborhood. We emphasize serving others, team work, dedication to hospitality and customer service, vigorous innovation and integrity in everything we do.


    We are acccepting applications for on-call Concierge to join our team, with the potential of becoming part-time or full-time. Day schedules are from 8:00am to 4:30pm and evening schedules are from 3:30pm to 10:00pm.

    Positions Details

    Working under the direction of the Office Manager, this position is responsible for operating the main telephone console for the facility, and functioning as the main communication center for the community.


    Here are some of the position responsibilities:

    • Assists residents with scheduling, transportation services, dining services, submitting work order requests and making reservations for various community events
    • Acts as back-up for answering outside calls
    • Monitors emergency response system and fire alarm panel during daytime hours
    • Other duties as assigned or may be necessary in an organization having overlapping roles and responsibilities
    • Interacts in a courteous and friendly manner with guests, residents and staff

    Position requirements: 

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a retirement community setting
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and external constituents
